Who we are

EventGlo Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Companies House number: [Companies House number]. Registered address: [Registered address].

For the purposes of the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, EventGlo Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this policy unless we state otherwise.

You can contact us about privacy matters at connect@eventglo.io.

What personal data we collect

We collect the information you provide directly to us, including account details, organiser application details, attendee registration details and support messages.

When you request a download from a free planning tool lead-capture form, we collect your email address, your name if you choose to provide it, the tool you used, whether you gave marketing consent and basic UTM campaign data when it is present in the page URL.

We also use strictly necessary technical data for sign-in, session security and fraud prevention.

How we use your personal data

We use personal data to operate the platform, process registrations, support organisers, send transactional messages and protect the service.

For free-tool lead capture, we use your email address to send the requested download or follow-up information connected to that request. If you tick the marketing box and confirm your subscription, we may also send practical tips, product updates and related EventGlo news.

We do not sell personal data.

Lawful bases for processing

We rely on legitimate interests to send the file or information you asked for through a free tool. We rely on consent for marketing emails sent after a person chooses to opt in and confirms that subscription.

For the wider platform, our lawful bases may include contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation and consent, depending on the type of interaction.

Marketing, retention and unsubscribe options

Free-tool lead capture records are kept for up to 24 months from the most recent qualifying interaction, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, whichever happens first.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask for deletion at connect@eventglo.io.

Who we share data with

We use service providers to help us run EventGlo, including hosting, data storage, payment and email delivery providers. They process personal data only on our instructions or as separate controllers where appropriate.

We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect legal rights or to prevent fraud or misuse of the service.

International users

EventGlo is based in the United Kingdom, but some of our service providers may process personal data in other countries. When transfers outside the UK or EEA take place, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections where required.

If you access EventGlo from outside the UK or EEA, this policy still explains how we handle your data, but local laws may also give you additional rights.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or move your personal data, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact connect@eventglo.io. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or to your local supervisory authority in the EEA.
